Today"s walk with good friends had lots of discussion. The closing of the birthing unit at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital came as a surprise and today's article in the NVD was front page material.
To everyone working in the unit I am personally heartsick and am thinking of you.
Hopefully the community will say we need this. It is a part of us. The idea of women being redirected to Front Royal seems very foreign.
At any rate if this door closes I believe there is always a new one opening.
