Life’s Jello Walk

If you have read the previous blogs you will know I have been dealing with a stroke in my eye and we are now getting down to the why's.  This is a drag but I suppose necessary.  It puts life in its proper dimensions.

While sitting at the retina specialist's office there was an interesting article on the Jello Heiress.  She was adopted out at birth (wrong side if the sheets syndrome) but found her mother later in life and two half sisters.  They reunited but cut off all relations after the mothers death as there was money involved.

To sum it all up the wealthy legitimate heirs said pass on a relationship with their new sister.  The new illegitimate sister should have received 4 million from her grandmother's trust fund.  Instead a total  fortune of 34 million was split between the two legitimate sisters.

Perhaps the two remaining sisters should realize they have set a value of less than 4 million on each other.  Perhaps they don't care.

I am sure in the lives of the masses we do the same valuations.  I pray when and if that happens I will see the error of my ways.

So far in this journey called life, relationships seem the only eternal and tangible thing we have.  I have never seen a hearse with uhaul trailer attached.

Perhaps the sisters will rethink their relationship even if they don't share the money.  It has made me rethink mine.  It makes me want to be a better steward.

Keep walkin,

Ron
