Last night I went for a walk. There are certain people who are stressors and last evening was full for me. Things way beyond my control that frustrate me. So what did I do? I went for a walk.
A Beautiful night with stars shining bright. As I walked out into my subdivision underneath the street lamps, the sky was obscured for the lamps.
Then God spoke. Perhaps people shine so brightly, we obscure His handiwork. Our own light competes with His. On the other hand some people have a very annoying flickering with little light. More of a distraction than a help. Perspective as I walked. Things were put back on the right shelves of my life.
By walking at different times, the world is revealed in many different ways. Most people may not recognize the picture at the top of the blog but it is right behind my home. Edinburg Gap, a dark mountain, with brooding clouds is common in the early morning. But by 10 am with the sun up, the Gap takes on a whole personality.
Walking gives me an easy access out of this tiny box called life. There is always much, much more!
Genesis 5:24
Enoch walked steadily with God. And then one day he was simply gone: God took him.
